1950 Chevrolet Woody Wagon

    I want to thank Albany Rods & Kustoms for choosing my car as a Favorite 50 winner. I am proud and honored. I have been attending your show since 1999. Your show is exceptional and the atmosphere is marvelous.

    The car is Forest Green Metallic with faux painted woodwork, two-tone beige leather interior, Mustang II IFS and Dana 60 rear end, a Chevy 350 and a Turbo 400 Trany equipped with a shift kit and 2,500 stall converter.

    Four years ago I had an accident with the car. My then 8 year old daughter Melody begged me to have it rebuilt. I called Dan Gruer and Jason Poole to take on the job. It took three years to complete and was Dan’s first attempt at wood graining. The engine was done by Guy Fermon, and the interior was stitched by Rodger Gaudet.

    I really appreciate all the hard work and want thank my friends for a job well done.
